CalComicCon: Califronia "Comic Book Only" Show On April 22nd — Many CGC-Certified Comics to Buy
Our friend Terry O'Neil of Terry's Comics is putting on a comic book show in Orange County just for comic fans. There will only be comic dealers as exhibitors, with an emphasis on vintage comics. Terry has already confirmed a great guest list that includes Bill Morrison from Bongo comics and Russ Heath, the Silver Age legend, along with additional local comic art legends in the works. There will be raffles that include at least two key CGC-graded Silver Age comics, one Bronze Age CGC-graded key comic, one Copper Age CGC-graded key comic, and one Modern Age key CGC-graded comic. There will likely be a piece of original comic artwork raffled off as well. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each at the show door. Terry hopes that this will be the kind of comic show that he remembers from his youth, when it was all about the comics, the stories, the artwork, and the fun of collecting.
