CGC Comics in Latest Hake’s Americana & Collectibles Auction!
In Hake’s Americana & Collectibles (a division of Geppi’s Entertainment Auctions) current September auction, Hake’s is once again presenting a selection of CGC-graded and non-CGC-graded books to bid on. A variety of comic genres are covered, ranging from western to horror, humor and of course, superheroes.
Some of the highlights include Golden Age issues of All Star Comics, featuring classic Justice Society of America stories and choice issues of EC’s The Haunt of Fear and The Vault of Horror. For fans of the Silver Age, Hake’s is offering classic Silver Age Justice League of America issues and the first issue of Hawkman.
In addition to Hake’s CGC offerings, they are offering a varied assortment of non-CGC books, including an extensive X-Men lot and a nice assortment including several Platinum Age comics featuring Foxy Grandpa, The Gumps, Tillie the Toiler, Bringing Up Father and Happy Hooligan, among others.
Hake’s is also offering another impressive grouping of items from the Craig Warren Batman collection, one of the finest around. There are many comic book character-related items up for bid in this auction, including the aforementioned Batman collection, as well as several Spider-Man and Superman items.
