ComicLink Auction is Ending - Vintage Comics and Original Comic Art
Time to get your bids in, folks! This Featured Focused Auction, ending soon, contains over 1,800 lots of Vintage Comics and Original Comic Art, so there is a lot to review, and most of it is great stuff. The original art segment of the auction ends this coming Monday, February 18th, and the vintage comic book segment ends Tuesday through Thursday, February 19th through the 21st. There are over 1,500 CGC-graded comic books in this auction and approximately 200 original comic art lots. Comic book lots from the Golden Age range from top-condition mega-keys like Captain America Comics #1 in CGC 9.0 to rarely seen pre-hero Detective issues to pedigree examples from collections such as the Gaines File and Mile High collections. Silver and Bronze Age issues range from Holy Grail favorite Amazing Fantasy #15 in an impressive and scarce CGC 9.0 to the rare Atom #1 in CGC 9.4, to Iron Man #1 in CGC 9.4 and Incredible Hulk #181 in CGC 9.6 (1st Wolverine). Original Comic Art lots range from the Golden Age to the Modern Age. Early works include originals from the Charles Biro Estate, Archie Sunday and Daily pages, an awesome Atlas horror Russ Heath cover from the Mystic title, and a rare Golden Age Atlas Sub-Mariner splash page. Silver Age classics include impressive and early Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby originals from Amazing Spider-Man and Incredible Hulk. Bronze and Modern Age art includes works by Modern Age giants like Starlin, Wrightson, and Cochrum. These are just a few examples from this quality-filled auction.
