On the weekend of June 20–22, CGC returns to the Heroes Convention in Charlotte! With an expansive Indie Island, this is a great opportunity to see the diversity of this genre and meet some of the creators of the comics as well. Featured Indie creators include Evan Dorkin (Milk & Cheese), Jamie Hernandez (Sex and Rockets), Jim Mahfood (Clerks, Grrl Scouts), Andy Runton (Owly), and Matt Wagner (Grendel). In addition, there is Artists’ Alley, with even more creators in attendance! Including Greg Horn (Emma Frost, Elektra), Dan Didio (Executive Editor-DC Comics), Steve Niles (Creeper, 30 Days of Night), Daniel Way (Wolverine: Origins, Hulk) and many more! Come by the show to meet these great guests, submit books to CGC, and even have a few books witnessed under the prestigious Signature Series designation. Stop by the booth first for details about this program or you can make arrangements in advance on our Chat Boards.
Mark your calendars! On June 26–29, CGC will be at Wizard World Chicago. Come to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center to take advantage of CGC’s On-Site Grading! The show hours are Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Prepare your submissions in advance and save valuable time! Prior to each show where CGC will be grading on-site, we will post our Online Show Submission Form on our Events Page. *PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT CGC WILL BE GRADING ONLY MODERN SUBMISSIONS ON-SITE AT WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO. In addition, Wizard World Chicago will have a wide assortment of comic creators available to sign your comics. Stop by the CGC booth for details about our Signature Series program and to secure a witness for any signings you may attend. (*Please note that Signature Series requests cannot be guaranteed for on-site grading, as the artist may not be available until the end of the show.)
