Show Recap: CGC Hits Super-Con in San Jose, CA

On May 17 and 18, representatives from CGC headed cross-country to the west coast for the "fan"tastic Super-Con in San Jose, California. Though only a two-day show, this comic convention packs a wollop! Add an amazing lineup of artists and writers from all genres of entertainment, with a floor filled with dealers selling an amazing variety of Golden, Silver, and Modern Age books, and you got yourself a comic show that only Steve Wyatt can put together! With headlining guests such as Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, and Travis Charest, along with Lost star Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and many others, CGC reps knew that submissions would be high, especially for the prestigious Signature Series. And boy, were they! West coast CGC submitters took advantage of the shipping savings by dropping off close to 800 books at the booth, where submissions ranged from early D.C.s and Timley's to IDW's Locke & Key #1 and Secret Invasion sketch covers.
