On the weekend of May 16 through 18, CGC will be set up at the Motor City Comic Con in Novi, Michigan! This show has been growing steadily over the years and recently moved to the Rock Financial Showplace, which is the perfect venue for this great convention. Featured guests include: Dick Ayers (Sgt. Fury), Al Feldstein (Mad, Tales from the Crypt), Arthur Suydam (Marvel Zombies), Billy Tan (X-23), Herb Trimpe (Incredible Hulk), Bernie Wrightson (Swamp Thing, House of Mystery). Come by the show to meet these creators, submit books to CGC, and even have a few books witnessed under the prestigious Signature Series designation. Also in this busy month CGC will be attending Super-Con in San Jose, California, on May 17 and 18. This is a smaller show that is jam-packed with dealers, creators, panels, and other excitement! If you are on the west coast, this is the perfect way to spend the weekend. Some of the featured guests include: Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman, Catwoman), Frank Cho (Shanna the She-Devil, Liberty Meadows), Greg Horn (Elektra, She-Hulk), Terry Moore (Strangers in Paradise, Echo), and the entire cast of Mystery Science Theatre 3000! Stop by the CGC booth to drop off books or find details about Signature Series opportunities at this convention. You can also make arrangements in advance with a witness through our Signature Room, located on our Chat Boards.
The following weekend, May 23 to 25, CGC will be traveling across the state of Florida to attend the Florida Supercon in Weston, Florida. This diverse show combines comics, anime, movies, gaming, and music into a weekend-long media event! Featured guests include: Dick Giordano (Batman, Superman), Terry Cronin (Students of the Unusual), Allen Bellman (Captain America, Human Torch), Georges Jeanty (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Green Lantern), and Frank Brunner (Conan the Barbarian, Howard the Duck). Collectors can have their comic books and comic magazines signed by their favorite creators in the presence of an exclusive CGC-authorized witness. These comics can then be authenticated, and certified by CGC under the prestigious CGC Signature Series label. CGC will be offering on-site grading at Wizard World Philadelphia from May 30 through June 1. Come to the Pennsylvania Convention Center to take advantage of CGC’s on-site grading! The show hours are Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prepare your on-site grading submissions in advance and save valuable time! Prior to each show where CGC will be grading on-site, we will post our Online Show Submission Form. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT CGC WILL BE GRADING ONLY MODERN SUBMISSIONS ON-SITE AT WIZARD WORLD PHILADELPHIA. CGC will also be accepting submissions for all tiers of service to be shipped back to our facility in Sarasota for grading. These submissions should not be listed on the Online Show Submission Form. In addition, Wizard World Philadelphia will have a wide assortment of comic creators, who will be available to sign your comics. Stop by the CGC booth for details about our Signature Series program and to secure a witness for any signings you may attend. (*Please note that Signature Series requests cannot be guaranteed for on-site grading, as the artist may not be available until the end of the show.) Also you can make plans in advance through our Signature Room on our Chat Boards. In addition, Wizard will be offering their Signature Series Vouchers, which is a great way to ensure a witness for some of the bigger signing events at this show.
