Hake’s June Auction Approaching with Comic Book Offerings
In Hake’s Americana & Collectibles (a division of Geppi’s Entertainment Auctions) upcoming auction this June, Hake’s is once again offering a selection of CGC-graded and non-CGC-graded books to bid on. A variety of comic genres are covered, ranging from Western to Crime, Science Fiction to Humor, and of course, Superheroes.
Notable comic book pedigrees are included with this auction; they are: Carson City, Rockford, Mile High, Pennsylvania, as well as a Gaines File Copy. Several other high-grade comics are up for grabs…
In addition to Hake’s CGC offerings, they are also offering a varied assortment of non-CGC books, including Golden Age issues of Batman, Detective Comics, Superman, Action Comics, and Wonder Woman, as well as a nice run of All Star Comics, featuring classic Justice Society of America stories. For fans of the Silver Age, we are offering runs of Fantastic Four, Avengers, Daredevil, and X-Men, as well as a copy of the first issue of Iron Man.
Hake’s is also offering another impressive grouping of items from the Craig Warren Batman Collection, one of the finest around. Comic book character statues are also represented in this auction, with Randy Bowen and other related statues being offered. The auction goes online May 14 and closes January 3–5.
