CGC Adds Mini Window Cards to Lobby Card-Grading Service

Certified Guaranty Company (CGC), the only independent comic certification and grading company, has added mini window cards to its movie lobby card-grading services. CGC employs a 10-point grading scale for lobby cards and mini window cards that is based on the industry standard used for comics and magazines, and pioneered by CGC in 1999. The same accurate, consistent and impartial grading that has made CGC the preeminent comic- and magazine-grading company lends itself to movie lobby cards and mini window cards.

CGC’s lobby card encasement is a sealed and tamper-evident holder of a heavy gauge archival plastic with binder holes. The fully transparent front and back allows complete viewing of the card and protects from any improper handling or soiling. If an owner wants to remove the card from the holder, they can simply cut the holder open and remove the card — although that would nullify the grading.
