Brisk Bidding Reported in ComicConnect.com Summer Event Auction

With just over a week left in the ComicConnect Summer Event Auction, the company reports brisk and sustained bidding.

“The Detective Comics #27 CGC 4.0 has already hit $270,000, the world’s highest-graded Avengers #4 CGC 9.8 is at $76,000, Marvel Comics #1 CGC 7.5 is at $61,000 and climbing, and Captain America Comics #1 CGC 7.0 is ready to move at $35,500,” explained Rob Reynolds, director of consignments. ComicConnect is showcasing more than 1,750 lots, including almost 1,600 grade-certified by CGC, with almost 99% of the listings selling without reserve.

Session 5 (Superboy #114–Zoot) Friday, August 17, 6 p.m.–12 a.m. EDT
