The original art lineup in the 2012 Fall Event Auction over at ComicConnect is their largest to date, according to Rob Reynolds. The auction is currently accepting bids on 200 items comprised of published covers, painted masterpieces, modern commissions, printed pages, portfolios, movie posters and more.
Included in the auction is Frank Frazetta’s "Savage World" painting for Monster Mania #2, a dramatic Gene Colan splash from Tales of Suspense #74, a very clean Arthur Adams cover to Classic X-Men #22, a pair of modern master David Finch covers for Avengers #495 and #501, a Simon Bisley painted cover for Hulk vs. Wolverine #4, a quartet of Jack Kirby Fantastic Four pages and a Kirby page from X-Men #8, an extremely rare Dick Briefer Frankenstein and Dracula page from Prize Comics #68, the Jack Nicholson Joker art that inspired Batman producer Michael Uslan, a Will Eisner cover for The Spirit #76, and so much more.
