“Another successful auction is behind us,” announced Rob Reynolds, director of consignments for the world record–holding auction house, ComicConnect.

“We set a goal to smash records and we did it! I would like to personally express my appreciation to our many bidders, buyers and consignors in the Winter Event Auction,” said Vincent Zurzolo, chief operating officer.

“The original art section of the Winter Event Auction was a tremendous success for our consignors,” said Rob Reynolds, director of consignments. “The John Buscema Silver Surfer #15 splash page sold for $21,500, the cover to X-Men #346 by Joe Madureira hammered at $8,199, the Arthur Adams cover to X-Men Annual 2000 hit $6,533, and the Ditko cover to Haunted #13 sold for $4,880.”

The company sold more than 300 original art items in their Winter Event Auction, their largest such auction to date.

“Our consignment window for the next catalog is now open for listing through the site as well as for shipping comics to the office. Get your comics and original art to me as soon as possible to make it in to our catalog,” Reynolds said. “I’m also able to offer cash advances for up to $5 million. Why wait for the auction when you can get paid today?”
