Well I've been M.I.A. but we set up the office. The wife and I are posting a ton of the collectibles, got all of the comic books we have in, built the shelves to display, and tore the house apart. I will post some pictures so everyone can see the chaos. I decided to keep all the Batman Animated Series and have started posting the rest. Once I can get to the end of that... I will start working on the "Funny Books".
It seems everyone else has one so I guess I should too!
I started this for fun, but will try to post interesting things, but will also include recent buys, along with gifs, and memes for my amusement. People are welcome to post, and discuss different things they don't all need to be comic related.

After going the whole summer abstaining from purchasing, I'm back to collecting comics again. Just won this in he current Comic Link auction. The first of the "mod" Diana Prince issues and very much sought after. Don't usually see this book on the market in grades above 9.0. Enjoy.
It's been too long since I updated here, but I've just been super busy. I have now sent out rewards to almost everyone, just a couple stragglers. There was a bit of a snafu at the printer with some variants that delayed things by a couple weeks, but in the end, everything worked out.
I'm hard at work on the second issue at the moment, just finishing up page 11. Things are going faster this time around, so I hope to have the issue done in November, but I will probably wait until January to
On July 19th, 2019 the CGC announced the winners of the annual CGC awards. I was very excited to see who would win. I have a few sets that i constantly work on to keep on an award winning level, i was extra- pumped this year because i felt a few of my sets had a pretty good chance of getting some recognition. I started checking to see if the awards were posted around noon- i know that is a little early- but i was very excited.
At around 1pm i looked at my custom set that i was hoping m
I just returned home from Buckeye Comic Con. It's a small show in a hotel. Just like back in the 70's when I attended my first cons. I like it because it is dealers loaded with comics. There are some small press writers and artists in attendance.
They say the attendance is 400 for the one day event and that looked a little low to me. Very busy. It is held every four months and I plan on being there in November for the next one. I picked up some high grade Swamp Thing , pristine Spawn 1to
hello thought id tell you were i found my next lot of comics, i found it in the very last place in the loft i was clearing out the comics were inside a deteriorated old carrier bag underneath the loft door i was about to climb down from the loft when that was when i saw them.
Look at this last lot of treasure i found by chance. not quite the holy grail but very nearly.
Approximately one Spawn comic posted daily for 365 days- through the upcoming film and milestone issue #300.
The majority of these issues are original owner, and as of this posting I am only missing one issue (#150) from being completely current.
I will reserve Sundays for posting a Spawn spinoff or one-shot at my discretion.

Ive posted a few images of my favourites so far, i need to categorise them quick before it gets all mushed up in my head, advice welcomed on were to start apart from obvious marvel in one pi
The Kickstarter campaign for the first issue of The Crimebusters is complete, and was a rousing success. Thanks so much to everyone who supported it! I'm really looking forward to sending out the comic and hearing what you all think. And I'm hard at work already on issue #2, so I'll certainly be sharing plenty more as we go.
The Kickstarter has ended and I'm just waiting for the copies of The Crimebusters #1 to arrive from the printers! If anyone missed the Kickstarter and wants a copy or copies, let me know and we'll figure something out when they arrive!
In the meantime, I'm keeping busy by working on #2!
The second issue is called "The Secret of the Ghost Bride." It features Chuck and Trixie investigating a haunted house. With a twist: there might be some time travel involved, thanks to the surprise ret
I have a veritable cornucopia of comics, and I've been schlepping them all over the world.
Back in June we finally settled on a place to live after a year of aimless wondering, stuff comes out of storage, comic boxes go into the basement. Too many comic boxes. So I think, "what's the point?" I don't follow anything anymore, I'm never gonna go back and read em. The ones I love I know by heart and why have ones that I don't love?
So I hatched this idea to finish my X-Men run and sell A
We're inside the last 48 hours, so I have composed another update (well, a couple really since last time I posted here).
I also just wanted to remind everyone that may be interested that this Kickstarter is going to end shortly, so if you do think this is a comic you'd be interested in, now is the time! Most of the variant covers will be printed in very small numbers, and the Kickstarter Exclusive Variant Cover in particular (which is an homage to Flash Comics #92) is going
A little update here. In the week since we passed $1000, we've pretty much hit a full stop. I think the amount has only gone up by $26 in the last week, with just two new backers. But I had heard that's how these things go, so while it's a bit disappointing, it's not surprising. I am still occasionally getting new "followers' - these are people who have asked Kickstarter to remind them about the project when there are two days left - so it's possible some of those people will back at the end.
