Completing Tec 27-53

well, I have done it....why?, I love Batman, always have, always will...what? completed my Detective comics Run, issue 27-53....cost? let's put it this way, I sold my favorite Ferrari to help fund my "passion"...the books....well, the 27 was bought unrestored 1.0, and Matt Nelson is restoring now...28 is a restored 8.0, but looking for an unrestored...I now own 3 copies of 29, upgrading each time (have a 5.5 slight, a 6.5 mod, and a 7.0 ext)...still working

I have finally completed my Batman GA run, and am in the process of scanning the books that are back from CGC. 1-50 are all done, with 2 exceptions (waiting on arrival), and I have about 25 books from 51-103 that are currently being graded. While I know I will never had the "best" set (Mile High, Larson, etc that I don't think possible to own), I hope to put together one of the best cgc graded sets.

2-92 is done!
Got my first MMC (#74, I believe) from a buddy of mine in Feb of 2007...and I was hooked (I had never owned a timely before!)...9 months later, no, I didn't have another baby, but I did finish my Marvel Mystery Comics run...that's right...2-92 is complete...only 2 issues are restored (3 is the Nick Cage former copy) and 22 had a staple replaced, but looks so nice, I am keeping...rest are unrestored blue, ranging from 1.8 (my #9 and the tough #86) all the way to a few 9.0 (crippin
The great migration...
An opportunity in our shopping complex has arisen. We are going to expand our store by about 40% more space. I guess that's the good news. What's the bad, you ask? Moving a long time, well established store.
