San Diego Comic Con 2013 part 2

So two months ago I wrote part 1 of this entry. Now it's time to tell you what I did there. So quite literally in two weeks before comic con I got tickets, bought plane tickets, and found a place to stay. It was a hard task but the way I looked at it if everything fell into place - I was destined to go and do what I had only dreamed of doing. San Diego Comic Con 2013 part 1

my goal was CGC SS books I wasn't even planning on going this year. I had no luck getting tickets every time they went up for sale, but then in June I got the "raffle" email. If you are a registered comic con patron you probably already know what I'm talking about. For all of those that don't. So how do you feel when your books don't grade as high as you expect them to?

Yeah! 9.8. 9.8! Boo! 9.2. 9.2! So I just recently submitted 4 books with my collector's society coupon for this year. I sent in some solid books that I thought would all get pretty good grades - at least 9.6's or higher... I just got the grades back with the books on the way to me. Two books graded at 9.8's, so I'm thinking cool so far - and then I see the other two books grades - 9.2's. I was a little disappointed since I didn't see any out and outright flaws when I send them in. Oh w

Daredevil Authentix sketch cover

Look what I just received... Everybody should remember when these books first came out in 1998. Well here is what I know about them. Dynamic Forces released two special versions of this book. 7500 regular copies bagged with a Dynamic Forces seal. 300 copies with a small sketch box on the cover that were filled in with an authentic Joe Quesada pencil and Joe Palmiotti ink head sketch and numbered xxx out of 300. According to the latest CGC survey, 32 qualified copies have been authenticated
