About this journal

Since the summer of 2017 I have worked diligently to discover everything about those wonderful Hostess ads found in comics. I've identified over 13,000 comics books that have the potential to have a hostess ad in it. So I have worked hard looking in every single of those comics and created a data base to mark what issue has what. At the time of this post I have hit just over 4,000 of that 13,000 list and whittle away at it as I can. 

So far their are over 300 different ads posted in comics from Marvel, DC, Whitman, Gold Key, Harvey, Archie and Disney Comics. 

I will start creating Journal entries here of the ads, my progress and always taking help on what issue(s) you seen an ad in, what the ad was, and where in the book it was located.

Batman Hostess Ads

A lot of ads made for Batman, if you notice a few ads are only available on the inside cover of comics, never found within the newsprint of the issues.
