Looking forward to more CGC books next year.

2011 is almost upon us. I now have four full boxes of CGC graded books, not all are 9.8?s. My storage space has dwindled and I am thinking about a mass exodus of other collectibles that I could sell (of course I am going to just use the money for more comic books.) I am ready to send in another 30-50 books, some to sell and some to collect. I hope to sell enough just to pay for the cost I spent to get it done in the first place, If I make a profit even better.

So what do I want to do this following year? I thought about the simple answer, I want more, but how, and how many? I of course want to finish my Daredevil collection. I only need five more to complete this run and then I have to keep up with current issues, if I will even keep collecting with what is happening with the story line after Shadowland. My most important quest is to purchase an upgrade to my 1.5 self graded copy of Daredevil #7. I have not decided whether to buy a copy graded or ungraded. I think this book along with a copy of Sub-Mariner #38 from my before collecting days is why I want to collect this character that I love and really don?t like.

Goal #1?.easy?.cheap?. buy four more CGC boxes

Goal #2?.not easy?.not cheap?.fill four more CGC boxes

Goal #3?.as mentioned before, complete my Daredevil run

Goal #4?.also mentioned, send in 30 ? 50 books for grading, whether all at once or through the year, I have not figured out yet.

This is a short list, I find it easy to create a short list of items to accomplish and then I feel better about it. If I were to say I want to get a 9.6 Daredevil #1 by the end of the year, well that is not going to happen, winning the lottery withstanding. I should be fine with these goals as long as I budget accordingly, something I have been half competent in. With all these goals completed by the end of the year I should be a happy collector, I might even write a few journals.
