just a small pebble in the pool, but at least i'm now in the water haha...

my collector's society coupon invoice today appeared as shipped which meant i can now add the books to my registry sets. this time around, i went with the expensive books and tried to maximize the coupon's value to the fullest (I made a rookie mistake 3 years ago, and did better last year with my choices, see past journals for more on what was submitted in years prior).

this year, i used my coupon to submit another copy of Hulk #181 I had laying around, plus my copies of X-Men #1 and X-Men #94. I figured the X-Men #1 was a 4.0 to 4.5, the X-Men #94 was a 9.2, and the Hulk #181 an 8.0. Well, the X-Men #1 graded at 3.0 (? because i've seen worse with higher grades), the X-Men #94 graded at 9.0, and the Hulk #181 is an 8.5.

I already have a Hulk #181 in the registry so I can't "double up" on this one, but after adding the new points for the other 2 books, i'm now over 10K in regisrty points... plus i still have more books to get graded so this number is only going to climb in the future.
