Starting my Warren Eerie run. Hopefully you guys enjoy my journey as I fill in this run.

For starters here's the famous Eerie 1 ashcan, this however is the bootleg one.

Here is Eerie #2 which in  my opinion is a solid 9.6, just a perfect book.

Eerie #3 Manitoba pedigree , another perfect high grade beauty.

Eerie #5 signed by Al Williamson, and another NM beauty book.

You magazine collectors know how much harder it is to find NM magazines than their comic book cousins.

Here's a very hard book to find in NM in Eerie #7

DeadOne mentioned he had a few Eeries for me to look at, and he wasn't kidding. So without further ado.

Thanks my man , they are addicting.

I've noticed that you use magazine folders and have a question for you: Do you alternate the books say staples to front in one and staples in the back with the other? I only ask this because I've heard that it makes a fold much like laying them on top of each other.

I have never had a problem, of course I don't jam them in very tight either.

Picked up a nice Eerie #4.

A killer Gray Morrow cover.

That's a really nice cover, tell me this will the Eerie run be easier to complete than the Creepy set or are there a few hard to get in high grade?  Good luck on your quest.

I'm trying for all the harder to get books first, so the first 10 then 17 and 23 are next.

Also they both Eerie and Creepy have their challenges.

Enjoy the ride and good luck Oakman and don't forget we'll all be in your back seat watching! So if ever you're stopped by the cops you can answer this question honestly "Who are all those clowns in the back seat?"

You have quite a few nice books yourself. Are you trying to complete Warren runs, or just grabbing ones you like?

Thank you Oakman. You collection is just awesome! How long did you take to complete the creepy run? Only high grades?

In my case, Just grabbing some Creepy and Eerie high grades, especially the first ones from the Archie Goodwin era for now.

How long did it take? I actually had to look that one up here on the boards.

It has taken from 2012 to this year, so 6 years. Yeah it took me awhile because I have tried to find some of the best grades that I could find. I first tried to get the hardest books first , then work on the the rest of the run.

Your collection is very impressive I must say.

Okay went to Terry's show last Sunday with intentions of filling holes in the run, unfortunately for me Eeries were as scarce as Hens teeth there.

I did however find a few.13, 14 ,15 19, 20, 21
