Here are the comics I had graded from my personal collection when I first joined up. Back then you got to submit four and these are the ones I picked to have graded just to see what grade they would come back. I felt like most of my collection would be around 9.4 so I picked two I thought was around that, one was a little lower but it was my oldest X-Men at the time and one with my favorite character which was Iron Man. It came back purple but I've had that with me since the early 70's but I would leave that one laying in my room out of the bag because I read it all the time and I'm thinking my sister must have marked on it at some point lol I knew it would be lower grade but wanted it graded anyway. Met up with a fellow boardie at the Wizard Nashville Comic Con and he had talked me into dropping them off with CGC which was at the show.

WOW i can't believe how hi grade that Cap 100 is from your personal collection:flipbait:do you remember what you paid for it ??

I'll have to check when I get home from work. My parents bought a lot of these for me when I was really young and put them back, I started collecting in the early 70's and would buy them off the spinner racks take them home read once and put them in my closet floor stacked on top of each other. I'm not sure if that is one they bought or if I bought when I first really started spending my money. The Iron Man I bought at what we called the flea market for $10.00 dollars lol

looks like I have it down that I paid 300, so I think that was one I bought from Joe Dungan an advisor for Overstreet back around 1993 from Texas

And speaking of the boardie that talked me into dropping off my babies to CGC to get graded it was our very own @walclark just want to say thanks to Walter he was the first one to reach out to me and answer a question about the con in Nashville and we have since become friends and have met up at a few small cons. He's a super guy and my wife and I had the pleasure of seeing his awesome collection in person. All I can say is WOW. Here is one of the comics that I did buy from him that I have a pic of. :applause:

Here's a book I picked up at the Comic shop I go to when we go on vacation in Florida at Fort Walton. They always seem to have something I need and very nice prices
