Wolverine going down for the count? I don't think so.

Ok so if your a Marvel Comics reader I'm sure you have seen the advertisements at your local comic shop or online or on ebay auctions about the so called death of wolverine. C'mon really!?!

After DC in the 90's pulled this stunt where they boasted the death of Superman which was the greatest marketing scam DC ever pulled where people waited on line for hours to get a copy of Superman and thinking they were going to hit the jackpot! Then later on Marvel copies that with the death of Capt. America and Thor and the Human Torch and Spiderman from the regular and Ultimate verse and DC doing it with multiple Robins, Batman and earlier in Crisis with Super girl and the Flash and other minor characters from both DC and Marvel. They all were brought back and the death is totally bogus!

I'm totally bored with this already used marketing stunt on both sides of the Marvel and DC universe with the lack of good writing ideas to have to resort by killing off a popular character and then bringing them back in a year or so! Really? That's so original? Give me a freakin break already and come up with something new that will really excite the readers rather than resorting to old marketing tactics which any seasoned collector will know that this bogus death of Wolverine which is one of marvels best selling characters to kill him off and risk losing all that money from selling wolverine comics and crossover appearances? We all know they will bring him back within a year or so and I'm cool with that but I'm just fed up with all this death stuff where Marvel and DC are not even trying anymore and think we are fools.
