I've got Amazing Spiderman #1;

I love statistics;

I love the "art" of grading.

So, I got a copy of Amazing Spider-man #1 and the pages are all intact. But the cover is scuffed up. I figure, if I sell it as a GD and it turns out to be a GD/VG, that would be a $400 mistake. I also want to be fair to myself and to my future buyer--so an independent grader makes sense.

I also love grading and what better way to learn than to get close to the masters.

Statistics on comics is fun, too. I sometimes think I would rather read Overstreet's Price Guide than read the comics themselves.
