This thread will be about my journey to the million dollar comic and the struggles, failures and successes that come with it since many boardies requested it I will not longer post my transactions but try what revat said :). I also have a bunch of inspirational people two of them being Walt Disney and Steve Jobs because I want to be the next rags to riches story not to the degree of Steve Jobs or Walt Disney but I want to make a million dollars buying and selling a comic and making enough money with this venture to never again say I can't afford something :)

Thoughts and plans

Who said anything about constantly wanting to prove this to others? Once I get the proof and show them that's all it will be. You have to realize that I've been wondering the same things myself about Sam and I want to see.

God always tests us. We're supposed to be testing to see if everything if of him or not. This is one of the biggest things that's happened to my life and I want to see if's it's me reading God correctly or not. I'm sure you know how important that is.

Luke 4 verse 12

"Dont put the Lord your God to the test"

You have faith?

That's all you need...end of.

Gabe.... another boardie found the post I made back in February in regards to the moving scam last year.

It's worth a read to see how easily people scam each other.

You are an amazing person

And if my obnoxious abrasive personality ever annoyed you in the past I am sorry and I will do whatever it takes to rectify my mistakes.

Also whatever happened to @meshuggah

Platitudes are all well and good...even if Gabe doesn't realize it, there are a lot of us who do and would wish you'd stop 2c

Thanks, I will check it out. I've sent out some of my best books to my friends and nothing when wrong or was stolen so I'm thankful for that.

Did you just give me a bible verse? You're supposed to have faith but not blind faith, thinking everything is of God. If everything were God wouldn't call us to be vigilant, test things to see if they are of him, and keep learning and remain humble.

Did this thread just get unlocked?????  Was it scrubbed?

Nah, it just died for a month. It was locked for a couple days in early August. Unlocked upon Gabe's request to the mods.

What a misleading title... this should be called

"Failing at everything and blaming others for it while making it public on the internet"

Hopefully he's not here because a licensed counselor/doctor/therapist has helped him realize there's nothing here (or anywhere) for him without a TONNNNNN of work offline in the real world.

I feel like he is truly a 'victim'* of the modern age.  Born 50 or 100 years earlier in a smaller Canadian town, he does farm work as a youth, barely finishes high school, joins the military, gets discharged probably for health reasons, and lives a simple married life pumping gas or as a ranch hand living just above the poverty line, but is probably reasonably happy or satisfied with a warm fire, a few comics, and time with loved ones.

Instead, he's got an undiagnosed learning disability, can see on tv/internet all these things everyone else is doing successfully, has delusions about what he can achieve, goes on public assistance, gets in crazy credit card debt, doesn't have the discipline to get or hold a job, and has an online romance with an American 'girl' with superpowers who is apparently interested, in jobless, moneyless, educationless Canadians with behavioral, learning, and psychiatric issues.

*This is not meant to absolve him or his family of any responsibility for the actions he chooses to take.  Just that some people for any myriad of reasons would have been better off being from a different time.  For example, I'd do well in Star Wars times (I wouldn't be a Jedi, but nearly everything I've ever tried to sew has ended up looking like the amorphous large baggy Jedi robes).
