*makes a note* But... did you get super powers?  An unnatural desire to pollinate plants?

I would ask someone right now but she will get annoyed at me for texting that question while she is working lol

I don't even know what is going on in the other journals but after multiple wasp stings, making a redacted white wine and pink sauce to compliment my ravioli along with a glass of said white wine...

I am ready to believe that there is some girl in the United States that is can fly, and reverse time, and take down alien starships and use her eyes to burn through steel and stuff.

Not even THIS will get me to go to Nassau Coliseum... I went to one show in the "new" building (they supposedly renovated) and shook my head and said never again.  Aside from that ticket prices are higher than they are for an average MSG show AND on top of that parking is $20 to $40 depending on if this is considered a special event.

I will cross my fingers and hope that a NYE run is announced.   I would rather travel an hour to MSG than travel 20-25 minutes to the Coliseum.

The place should have been demolished and rebuilt like originally planned.

Hopefully the sanitation department doesn’t question why I’m throwing out all of these empty containers of bleach...

After ripping out six bags and pails worth of ivy... and using multiple containers of bleach to soak the ground and their underground lair.... I think the beasties have been vanquished...

well that would be cool i guess but i thought this journal was going to get personal and interesting so as to compete with and possibly top that other journal  ????

Ask away then... I am listing things on eBay and am in front of the computer for the foreseeable future.

I've already uploaded pics of my China cabinet which is really the only display area I have.  I only got two questions out of that.

We've already detailed my little war on the wasps and their underground hive and my dumping many gallons of bleach into the ground to soak through and get to them.  Seriously, I wonder if sanitation is going to question why there are so many empty bleach bottles in my recycling... lol

With few exceptions I have no problem turning this into an AMA.

OMG... I should host an AMA while Kav is on his 7 Day vacation !

Or I should allow @jaybuck43 to conduct a Howard type interview lol

Then everyone gets suspended.

Question to people reading this...

Are people that bold to tell me that they want to buy my stuff on eBay but want to know if I can lower the price since they have to pay taxes aaaaaaaaaaaaaand....

here is the big part...

he is trying to buy these things... but money is short due to him having to pay for parts of his chemotherapy that his insurance does not cover...

smh...

FULL PRICE !

If money is short this month because of chemo... money is going to be short next month too... don't buy anything on eBay... Use the money that you would have spent on toys this month and money will not be short or as short next month.

Rules might vary state to state, but in general as long as the bottles are empty and capped you shouldn't have a problem.

If it's just worry about what Sanitation workers are going to think, just put out one container each week and recycle a couple yourself into a bird house or kitty litter scoop or something.

No cat and I do what I can to keep the birds away.  When I discovered a nest in my attic, I contracted my handyman to fabricate new attic vents to prevent the birds from getting into the attic.  The baby birds were relocated but I think the hawks or the raccoons got to them.

Huh.  I figured you'd have a cat with a name similar to Poster Nutbag.   A cat would keep any birds away and if you lose interest in the cat, the raccoons would surely eat it.

Question: Are pencils better pre-sharpened or should you just sharpen them yourself?

Depends on the volume of pencils.  If, for some reason you need 1,000 pencils then presharpened is the way to go... like mini golf pencils.

I think he is full of excrement. I told him that things were already marked at 8% off and if he took advantage of the eBay incentive 10% in eBay bucks that he could score additional savings.

I am NOT a fan of:

  1. I have cancer can I have a discount.
  2. I am in the military can I have a discount.

I have friends and family who have been under the above circumstances and none of them ever used those circumstances as 'coupons'.  So there was no paying it forward.  He is fortunate that I was even polite.

Log: Day 3 10:00 hours.  The war against the wasps continues on in the third day.  Their numbers dwindle but the war is far from over.  They seem confused. They are scattered and they continue to fly around the area.  I have reason to believe that they are regrouping in a secret lair that I have not found.

In the meantime, the citizens of the garden have a false sense of security and have emerged from their cottages believing themselves free from the wasps reign of terror.  The bees and the dragonflies thought to enjoy the day either oblivious to the threat below the ground or without care.  I could not help but document their existence as life is short and futile and today it could be their last should the wasps organize for a counter strike.

Patrols continue and more ivy and foliage cleared to expose more of the ground and hopefully root out more wasp encampments.

Casualties have maintained at a minimum but this morning Lt Thumb was injured by an enemy combatant.  Thumb will hopefully recover.
