Branching out from coins to one of my 1st collecting passions

Greetings!

My path on collecting is a diverse one and an ecclectic one. The first collections I ever had was that of baseball cards, Topps, Fleer and Donruss. I also enjoyed sending cards off to the stars of the time for autographs, and this started my love and passion for collecting.

As I have mentioned before in my journals here, my card collecting led to comic books, namely Batman and especially Frank Millers' treatment of Batman. The stories and artwork of the "Year One" series and "The Dark Knight" series were downright exceptional and I could lose myself in the stories and aesthetics very quickly, and read them all over and over.

So, today, I decided to "branch out" or rather "branch back" to one of my 1st passions and I put a bid on a CGC graded Dark Knight comic book. I hope I win it. I'll know in 4 days.

It will be a nice addition to my registry, the FIRST addition to my CGC registry here.
