Just getting started!!

Hello everyone, this is my first journal entry and wanted to say hi and hope to get to know a few people that have the same passion as I do with comics. I am in the military and have been stationed overseas for the last 5 to 6 years and was dying to get back to the states and visit a comic store to get up to speed on what's going on in comics these days. My only source was Wizard magazine and then it was always a couple of months behind.

But to my surprise, I got stationed at the southernmost tip of NM in Alamogordo and there isn't a comic shop for 100 miles. So, I guess it's still going to be a long road to get up to speed, but now I have high seed internet, which I haven't had in a long time, and I am in the process of submitting my first comics to CGC. I have had these for almost 16 years and I'm anxious to see what grade they will get.
