  1. Past hour
  2. If we want a noob moment? Lol i just discovered light modes on my tablet. I always just used contrast Some of these make my profile look awful, but the registry still looks nice in most of them. Idk 💡
  3. The case is literally open on the bottom left corner. The entire comic can be slipped out.
  4. For what it's worth I added this book to a set today, shared it in another set, and uploaded pics: https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicView.aspx?PeopleSetComicID=1489939
  5. I am finally able to add books to the custom set but unable to add the corresponding pictures. Also, I notice the site seems extremely slow just adding the books.
  6. For comparison... I just discovered lighting features on my tablet for dimmer viewing what a difference, but makes this seem an ill comparison, I'd rather paqart have proof, but best "I" can do 😂 Strength in numbers, maybe others will chime in!
  7. Payoff For The Banker by Frances and Richard Lockridge Pocket Books No. 501 1st Printing March 1948 $15 Pretty risque GGA for a Pocket Book. Art by Donald Beck Amazing condition for a 75 year old book. VF Unread. Square tight and super glossy with minimal edgewear.
  8. Yes, such an odd design choice. I've often wondered how the artists felt having their art not displayed to its fullest.
  9. Here are the pictures of the interior back cover. @joeypost
  10. That is normal for an older cases! That's the Good News! A little surprised you've never bought an older case, or more surprised I should say.
  11. Wild Fruit by Joan Sherman (Pseudonym of Peggy Gaddis) Beacon B367 PBO 1960 $35 Elegant Good Girl art, likely by Milo or Darcy (Ernest Chiriaka) VF Unread glossy square and tight with minimal edgewear. A gorgeous copy.
  12. Doesn't seem to make much sense to me to have those two characters doing that in a packed stadium. Looks more like a commission piece. The art itself isn't that bad at all.
  13. Thanks! Since I had one I never really looked at the census before on this book. As to be expected, there aren't many high graded copes. After taking out the 5 restored in 9.4 only 6.85% are higher than 9.2 with 3 lowly 9.8's. Near Mint/Mint 9.8 3 0.20% Near Mint + 9.6 11 0.73% Near Mint 9.4 89 5.92% 6.85% Near Mint - 9.2 161 10.70% So I guess they are out there, just not "that" many. Good luck if you're still looking!
  14. Four Carter Brown Signets $20 Some great McGinnis covers. They have various issues that keep them out of the higher grades but still present well and can be read if wanted
