Comics, Pulps, and Paperbacks: Why such a discrepancy in values?
jimjum12 replied to Reno McCoy's topic in Pulp Magazines
I sunk my teeth into Tarzan like a rabid dog back in the early 70's. I couldn't get enough. Here's a couple volumes I noticed with exceptional cover art ... not familiar with the artist, and don't own any, yet. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -

There wont be a season 2. It ends where the book ends - kinda. If you enjoyed this show, and you can still bring yourself to "read a book", I highly recommend you read Shogun. The show is to the book as a light bulb is to the sun. -

That does seem to be the most popular explanation of Fall Out, but people have been arguing the point for well over 50 years now. -

Number 6 is Number 1 in my book. Gorgeous book arrived today, everything pretty. Thanks so much. I started reading it again, of course, and am hooked. -

Good luck! Very cool, dynamic cover. Don't see it pop up very often.

Michael Turner Fathom swimsuit cover hits $22+k on CLink
Dr. Balls replied to Dr. Balls's topic in Original Comic Art
Yeah, I'm in that boat as well - but I still have hopes to pick up a tight sketch someday. This was a neat auction to watch the last few hours of the bidding. -
Yeah, the two-people-bidding scenario is a average killer. That's probably the likely explanation - but man, what a jump in price.

Thanks, BTW. Now I'm looking for this copy.
