I'm an American, and thus, easily spoiled, but it won't be the same without Wesley and Kris. I'll still give it a fair shake. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

Have Paperbacks become the “next big thing”?

My collection of Dell comics. Dell was an incredibly prolific and diverse publisher, so my collection of mostly funny animal and cartoon characters really just scratches the surface. For example, I have none of their many westerns, war or ghost comics, no Tarzan, only a few of the movie and TV tie in books etc. There are lots of duck books here, including Four Color Comics: the classic Barks stories were run in the Four Color Series for many years, including the first 20 or so Donald Duck stories (until the Donald Duck series started with #26, which wasn't really the 26th...) and the first three Uncle Scrooge issues. Walt Disney's Comics and Stories: #1 was published in October 1940 and the final Dell issue was #263 in August 1962. My focus has mainly been on issues 1 - 100, but I'll pick up nice copies of others when I get a chance.

Not odd, not uncommon. CGC Grader notes rarely document all of a mid-grade book's various blemishes/defects/flaws. I think Bo's assessment is solid. For simplicity, let's assume the post-CPR (clean-press-regrade) specimen has a 50% chance of being recertified as a CGC 5.0 and a 50% chance of getting bumped up to CGC 5.5. Would I spend $250 (Unlimited Value tier CPR fees, plus round-trip shipping) on a procedure that has only a 50% chance of increasing the book's value by $250? No -- I'm not averse to gambling, but I tend to avoid playing unless the odds are strongly in my favor. One man's opinion, for what it's worth.

I see them on eBay but you have to dig, as eBay wants your search to yield every. single. thing. for sale on their site ... certainly you get ALL types of bags, even the discreet ones for ugly gals. I got 100 poly bags for $10, and the mylars were nearly $1 each, so I saved enough to get another book, and money's tight. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -

Facilitator fee's are now an industry standard as CGC outsourced their Signature Verification to "authorized facilitators" years ago. You will be charged; I would advise to find a facilitator you trust and build a relationship with them to handle your books. Some facilitators charge a premium, some have a standard fee it just depends on their business practices and something how much they can get away with.

Hero Restoration, Anyone know the latest?

the reason I poasted this and the reason I think it fits is because Kilgore says that line with regret he's in his element and is expressing disappointment i am still hopeful all possible books that can be returned actually get returned and am still hopeful people who are out funds get the funds back but that is a tougher hill to climb -
