  1. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It's a definite possibility. But it's the only way I have been able to cut the "clutter" from the search list.
  2. The best thing that has worked for me is to add the year of publication. For example "defenders 5" 1972.
  3. Heavy Metal put together an illustrated adaption of "Alien", but it's hardly ever discussed. I guess only a handful of people ever bought it.
  4. It's your call. How often do coverless copies hit the market? I would try to wait for a book with less damage. But then again, what if it takes me 5 years to grab another copy I can afford?
  5. I picked up the Fear State Omega two weeks ago at my Walmart. Interesting that you are just now getting them at your store. To avoid disappointment, I have not opened mine yet.
  6. I wonder if the summer heat could be contributing to the problem...I mean the occurrence.
  7. If a lot of humidity was used during the press it is possible that minor waviness can occur if not enough heat is used to evaporate it away.
  8. You might try to remove them yourself. There are "how to" videos you can find but be patient, or you can crack your case.
  9. Who is paying shipping to have them sent back and returned?
  10. I buy books that I want to add to my collection. I don't buy books based on the census.
  11. CGC doesn't limit its service to key books. Marvel alone has 4,903 titles going back 80+ years. Some people will break out a comic and re-send. I'm not really concerned about it.
  12. 1.8??? But I had that book cleaned and pressed!
  13. Let me flip a coin. Tails! You will get white pages! P.S. yeah, I agree with the grade listed above.
  14. NIAGRA FALLS!! Slowly I turned ...step by step...inch by inch...
  15. This fourth season has been up and down for me. The same plot devices are used every season and sometimes I feel like I'm watching a remake of season three. But when its good it is really amazing! Episode seven was probably the best episode of the entire series.
  16. I would assume a two-point drop. If it happens to grade 8.5 , break out a beer and celebrate.
  17. I would guess that 50% of those books are modern independent schlock.
  18. I live by certain rules. One rule is that I do not try to control other people. I believe people can do whatever they like as long as it does not cause physical harm to anyone else. As to these types of sellers, I still hardly ever see anyone on eBay using women in their photos to sell comics. I'm a guy so yeah, scantily clad women don't offend me. I have never had the desire to buy a book from a seller that uses this tactic either. I don't think that it sells their books, but maybe I'm wrong. It's no different than hiring girls to dress up at comic conventions.
  19. I only have one CGC book signed by Adams and it's an odd one. The fact that he signed his name over streaky the super-cat did not go beyond notice.
