  1. I looked under Jonny Quest, seems to be a common issue.
  2. Yes pressing can dramatically enhance this type of paper.
  3. By my own submissions, I think the Dave Stevens books for the most part are easy to find in 9.8 grade raw. I've had all the mainstream books in 9.8 with most in the 5-10 copies per book range. Except for one book, Jungle Comics #1 I've only found one copy in 9.8 grade. Very soft inks and a brutal back cover to keep in grade.
  4. I've had to send reminders as available credit was not automatically applied.
  5. Instead of grading the book “The CGC” has admitted to grading the pressing with this example.
  6. It looks good for the grade with arms length grading. Some of these spine kinks I feel are happening during encapsulation. Not there during the submission or grading process.
  7. Here’s my old copy that I submitted, unfortunately I sold it years ago.
  8. I’ve owned it 6 years, the only thing different is it’s been removed from its plastic.
  9. Like a square bound comic, I’m sure pressing a pulp will minimize some of the warping and rippled look to it.
