  2. Sometimes in pictures, the reflection on the right edge of the bag makes a comic look Marvel chipped when it really isn’t. This is not one of those times.

  5. I’ll admit that I bought it for the original Kirby image of Mr. Fantastic (and because it was a dollar), but I have far less contempt for it than does our Straw-Man. That said, it is a weird thing.

  8. I’m doing a 1400 mile roundie to Michigan’s spectacular Upper Peninsula. Nothing comic related, sorry to say.

  11. I started getting serious in 1988, and I had put out an APB on FF 1. I got a call a couple of months later, but with the opposite problem: the book was too nice! VF, $900, and I had the money ! I turned it down. The most I had spent up to that point was $75, and my family thought I was nuts to do that. It was the biggest regret of my comic life, and the last time I let public opinion make a decision for me.
