  1. That is a beautiful commission and very well done! Congrats! Who did it? Here is where the original is at: http://www.comicgoose.com/kyopo/artwork/show/38/vampirella-10-cover
  2. I know of at least two other album covers with art by Larry Welz. The original art for them is out there as well.
  3. Recently back from CGC: And even better! (Always more fun to show yourself up than to have someone else do it for you):
  4. Suddenly I have even more interest in Danger Girl than I already had!
  5. That is an amazing book. I was hunting for WTotF recently but the prices spooked me. Metropolis Comics had a bunch of nice books if you've won the lottery recently, though. Congrats!
  6. Fresh from CGC, just a few, many more at work still to scan. Biggest score IMO -- Bogeyman #1 CGC 9.8, Highest CGC graded! Haven't scanned it yet, I'll post it tomorrow. But I love Rory Hayes so this means a lot to me. Heart Throbs #1, sadly came back Restored, it's to keep so I guess I've just got "an opportunity to upgrade later" on my hands. Wasn't super high-grade in any case. Actually looks pretty damn good presentation-wise especially now that it's slabbed. And #2: San Francisco Comic Book #1, still trying to get one to beat my CGC 7.0, this one's going to my brother as a gift to remind him of his hometown while he's living in NYC: Arrgh! #1 My Love #2, another bummer Restored. My Love #4 My Love #28 CGC 9.4, a major coup as even the Oakland Pedigree books didn't beat this grade for the most part. My Love #29 My Love Annual #1
  7. Agreed! Personally I'd rather operate on the patient in the Ghost Comics cover.
  8. Dark pictures but all I have right now: Cherry Poptart, various painted pieces My Love #16 Cover Pussycat page by Bill Ward I have one more I'll post later, a Tim Sale drawing of the Hulk.
  9. Received four pieces by Anthony Carpenter: http://www.comicart.me/shaper/gallery/show/29/anthony-carpenter'>http://www.comicart.me/shaper/gallery/show/29/anthony-carpenter I love them all, here's a good one though: Also got a Bruce Timm piece, both the original marker and color: Full gallery at http://www.comicart.me/shaper
  10. I just started collecting Ghost Comics, both reader and high-grade copies, some arrivals thus far below. Ghost Comics #1 Ghost Comics #7 Ghost Comics #7 - Big Apple Pedigree Ghost Comics #11 Expensive and hard to find though these books may be, they are far cheaper than Weird Tales of the Future, which is the GA series I originally set out to collect. Mr. Wolverton's popularity unfortunately appears to have pushed those books into the semi-stratosphere.
  11. A few books I happily took delivery of recently:
