  1. Some of you might be aware of an independent comic I've been producing for a few years called Spike Mulligan. I have made it to issue 8 which is pretty amazing in my thinking and it's been really fun putting it all together. I posted lots of progress shots here in this thread over the years. I did the artwork for the first 6 issues (except for the covers) and my friend Jack Dickason did the last two issues (#7 + #8) completely. Pencils and inks. He is way better than I. Anyways, Jack has a couple of original pages from issue #7 up in the current CLINK auction with about a week to go. Not Gee pages mind you, but still nice ones IMO. It would be awesome if someone here got them. Here are scans of them from Spike #7. Comic Link :: Search Results for jack dickason Comic Books For Sale and Auction
  2. Don't be so hard on yourself. I could tell it was She Hulk immediately
  3. Question ? If Superman is Super hombre, why isn't Batman Bat hombre ?
  4. I like "themed" cover threads. Gives everyone a chance to dig out their books and share.
  5. Not really a cover, but there is coffee involved
  6. Hi all. Not new but been away for a year and a half or something like that. Had our first good rain here yesterday and the seasons are changing as we head into the cold months and the holidays, which always make me feel a bit nostalgic. And that makes me think of comics. Boardie class of 2008 checking in for a bit
  7. And these........ Which statues were torn down during the Oregon State Capitol riot? George Washington and Thomas Jefferson's statues were the first to go in June, then in October, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt were torn down. 8. Lots!! Especially the Elk in downtown. How can an Elk be so disrespected?!! Elks are 100% NOT POLITICAL. I know this is steering a bit off course, but since you asked, I'll give you 3 pictures, a link and then get back to the topic of PP ripping people off. 9. Hmmmm......?? Remember all them statues across the country that got torn down a couple years ago There was more than one in Portland Oregon.
  10. Well, right now I think the Overstreet groupies are in charge, because they have the most Hulk 181 investors, thanks to what the guide says. But the hunters and trackers, the Lewis and Clarks of the comic collecting universe if you will, are gathering steam.
  11. But maybe if you have a Hulk 180 on the bay and call it that..... the verdict is still going through the courts
  12. What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying PP's value has gone down by 70%?? Are you saying that happened because people were speaking about things PP didn't want them to and they finally got around to placing fines on those individuals?
  13. Again, I think it would be good for people to consider who owns PP and look at other moves that financial institution is putting in motion through their assets. The push for world domination is in full swing.
  14. I think it would be good for people to consider who owns PP? There's gotta be somebody backing them a little higher up the financial ladder, and thus telling them what policy will be.
