  1. Thanks!bump Didn't know the exact numbers on that one, just knew it lay somewhere between the Capullo and the Mcfarlane sketch variant. I'm sure y'all would look, but let me save you the trouble: but eBay sales showed three raws sold for $188.88, 127.50 (signed), and $180. Presently there's three on the bay right now a 9.8 listing at $700 OBO, a signed raw that's going with the Art of Mcfarlane (hard to value that) at $400, and an English "6.5+" raw for $207 (must be that strong dollar against the pound).
  2. Reopened with a price drop prior to listing on eBay, and I wanted to see if anybody on the boards wanted a crack at it. I'm going to hold it open for a couple of days. Thanks!
  3. No shamers, no probies. First wins. Payment with 72 hours, if it goes by Monday PM, I can get it in the mail on Tuesday, otherwise it will have to wait until Friday because I will be on business travel. Shipping will be via USPS Flat Rate Medium Priority Mail box securely packed, or if you wish a different method as long as it includes insurance I can arrange this (but no Media Mail). Since this is my first sale on the boards, if you need a reference, inconceivable can vouch for me. ==== Forthwith with the particulars. I received this book directly from TFAW as part of an order for the regular cover--I just wanted to read 185. This must either have been an inattentive employee or before the stores separated the variants out, so I count myself blessed to have gotten one. $190 shipped. It has been pressed.
  4. My LCS had one Hughes and one Anka left by the time I got there at lunch. The really odd thing was there was not a single Young variant to be found anywhere. Big stacks of the regular cover, but no Youngs at either of their two stores. Anybody know what the print run on the Youngs were? Just finished reading and it's good enough for me to buy the next story. It does read like a What if at the beginning because...well, yeah, it is. Let's see what they can do to flesh out the rest of the universe which will take some time.
  5. it just did. Holy stomm, your right! Dang! I wanted one to put next to the Ross Variant, but I really have a hard time putting out that kind of money.
  6. Because people are stupid and are paying the prices. If the money wasn't there, no one would do it. Hey, I have a Stan Lee SS myself, but at least he worked on the book which I have signed. Which raises the question, could I get a SS of myself signing a SW #1? Oh wait, I've already got one! (sadly, Qualified)
  7. I saw the 9.8 SS by...Stan Lee. Stan Lee. Really? Forgive me if it's a boardie's, but that's just in my book.
