  4. Hello! I am a big Tick fan and you can see all my collection here: http://comics.www.collectors-society.com/registry/comics/PeopleSetDetail.aspx?PeopleSetID=17725 I am the winner 5 years in a row of the Best Tick set. I got the full Ben Edlund run with many CGC SS also and not to mention some very very rare Tick comics. Like the Tick #2 Error print and the 4 Tick #12 special variant identify by CGC. But I decide to focus my comics collection on Amazing Spider-Man (CGC or regular copie) and so I want to offer my collection for trade or sell maybe? So if anybody is interrested, PM please. Thanks! PS: I want to sell/trade my Tick collection in one piece, not separately.
  5. Me too got the same "flare" problem. And I still got some "freezing" problems also. I am able, when I am lucky, to scan one or 2 CGC comics then it freeze at half way again. Must restart everything !!!!! Maybe not the best scanner to use with Windows 7. Also have you notice the tiny line that pass all the way from the top to the bottom near the spidey web? Here another scan where you can see it better, very strange!
  6. Humm...ok thanks, I will try some of what you suggest and keep you updated if it work.
  7. I had the proper drivers for the HP 8300. However, every few scans, either the software would lock up, or the scanner would stop scanning about 1/2 way through. I got VueScan and have never had a problem since. Hello! I just brought a HP 300 because all of the comments here. But I got the same problem as Kaptain here but using VueScan do the same thing I can only scan once. The first time it scan 50% of the image, I wait like 30 seconds then the rest show. Then when I want to scan another image it simply stop arounf 50% again and bug and I must restart the computer. I got the latest drivers from the HP site. Anybody got an idea here Thanks!
  8. Wow! You got a really great collection Stryfe! All is well place and look very clean. Thanks for sharing and showing us how those Volstor cases work (thumbs u

  15. Wow! This is an amazing room and appartment you got there Omgitsu And your photo where we see all the old video game console is impressing. I see my old Odyssey console that I got when I was 5 !!! Congrats my friend!
  16. That will surely be an awesome sketch! As for me when I have commissioned my Thanos, it has take 3 to 4 month I think. And if you want to get news, you must email Mr. Crain. He is busy and don't think to sent email update of his work to fans I think. Personnaly I think that like all artist, you need to be patient and gentle with him One thing for sure is that you will get your sketch and that you will be very very happy with it
  17. I am looking to trade this Captain America Sketch from Stuart Sayger : I am looking for one os these 3 things : - Thanos CGC SS sketch - Scarlet Witch CGC SS sketch - Dr Strange CGC SS sketch. I will be very picky about my trade. We are talking about a Sayger sketch after all Thanks!
  18. Thanks a lot! As for the tape, me also and just to be sure I add some nails. One in the middle and one at each side
  19. Will that scratch up the case? No not at all, The case fit gently in without force. It fit really well.
  20. man that is AWESOME. I was just in Quebec 2 days ago and you didn't invite me to see that great room! Very impressed. !!! Totally forgot, next time Thanks! This is my little martial art place with a frame poster of Shi on the wall. I wanted to place others things there like my others Marvel Statues but I think I will keep it that way. Maybe some or you wonder what I use to hold my CGC comics on the wall? In my comic room, I got something similar as heymikesays for placing them on the wall. I have go to a home improvement specialty retailer (Rona or Home Depot) and while searching for someting in the house building department, I found this : This is PVC and 8 feet long. It was perfect for REGULAR CGC comics case size. But for my Silver Surfer #4, the case don't fit since the case is larger. I also simply brought some tape that can stick to both side and that's all. Really easy to do and not very costly.
  21. Thanks everyone, glad you like it! As for the treadmill it belong to my girlfriend and even if she don't use it, this is so heavy that we can't climb it upstair !!! Thanks! Well I don't I know one day I absolutely make a list of everything and check for an insurance company. I know there is some in the US that insure comics, but here in Canada and moslty québec I don't think so.
  22. Wow! There is some much great comics room in this post, congrats to everyone. It's really fun to share because this can gave you ideas for your own room. Here is mine:
