  1. *unzips pants What exactly are you using that picture for?
  2. Your "PGX Mike" shill account wasn't fooling anyone over there.
  3. Last we heard, he was seen being dragged into Greggy's basement....followed by a long muffled scream......and then silence. So, we figured he probably got a job with a different company and moved away.
  4. They used to have a system for rating accounts similar to the old star ratings on this forum. Stu cried like a baby to the moderator when I kept giving his account over there a low rating.
  5. 20+ years to reach a horrible level of quality control and craptastic customer service policies. Good job, CGC ! ! !
  6. Your picture is too big. I'm not looking at all of those pixels.
  7. If only someone could print the above post out and insert it into the shipping managers rectum (so it's close to their brain). People spend a lot of time, effort and money to search out copies worthy of sending into CGC...and then CGC sh*ts on them like this. A quarter of a century in business....and THIS is the best they can do? 25 years of "dialing it in"....just to have the last guy in the assembly line say "f**k it". After that amount of time, this isn't something that should have to be "worked on". Nobody in shipping throws 5 CGC graded books in a box, mistakenly covers it with a single piece of bubble wrap, and thinks it will be fine. The person that does that just doesn't give a damn and needs to be shown the door.
  8. The "books" are right side up and undamaged......there are no newton rings......the labels have the correct information on them......and there are no pieces of sharp plastic encased with the books. Can CGC hire this guy to help them get their sh*t together?
  9. Ebay seller seems like an honest guy that got duped with these fakes. Before these listings were canceled, he posted the following note to each auction: "Please do not bid. I believe this is a fake. I am trying to cancel this auction but ebay wants to charge me over 100 dollars to cancel, even if its because its a fake !. If you already bid please retract your bid. I would like the auction to end with no bids. If someone does win I will contact them and have them cancel the sale. I have been on ebay a long time and don't want to sell fakes and ruin my name. Thanks" It's possible he just doesn't deal much with graded comic books.
  10. Then perhaps you should stay the hell out of the forum selling area.
  11. Haven't heard that name in quite a while. He was always really nice and should come back and start posting again.
  12. Flake and Cantina can't be the same person. They work together on a little thing called a wine mixer. Perhaps you've heard of it? The Cantina Wine Mixer*? Do you all even understand what that is? It's the Cantina effing wine mixer! POW! It's the biggest comic book lawsuit event...in the western hemisphere...since 1997. POW! They have to sue, or settle, with at least 80 comic related companies there to make their nut. POW! POW! * not affiliated with the Catalina Wine Mixer.
  13. Price appears to match up with the book mentioned in this thread. And I'm thinking the thread title is in reference to this post made in another thread.
  14. There is no way that's a legitimate news article. It didn't start out with "BIF.......BAM!.......POW!" and the author patting himself on the back for thinking of such an "original" opening line.
  15. Thanks, Mike! That one always bothered me on such a cool golden age cover.
  16. That's only $1,000 a book you cheap turds. ::: blows the dust off the $12 in his wallet :::
  17. Not inexpensive....but nice. https://collectablecases.com/
