I always had a ton of respect for the CGC folks (CAW's included), but after seeing what they worked through at the NYCC I must say they are AWESOME!!!

Yesterday I bought a stack of Sgt Fury's ranging from # 7 - #37 (20 books total) in VF- to VF+ condition for $2 a piece. I was pretty happy about that. Just before I walked away from his flea market table I looked at a small pile of books to my right. Third book from the top was Giant size X-men #1. I threw it on my stack and the man said take that one for free. It was a good day.

 

This is after finding New Mutants #98 for a buck the week prior.

I have a bad pic of the GSX1. It's not faded on top it's just a poor photo. The book has some issues, but it was FREE.

I'm still shocked I got that book for free. What I didn't mention is I also got Wolverine, the mini series, #'s 1, 2 and 4 for a buck each, not to mention Uncanny X-men 103 and 248 for a dollar. They were small beans compared to the GSXM. It was an excellent day of hunting.
