  1. Sad news about Angus Scrimm – I've never seen the movies but heard nothing but good things :sorry: I need to get on that! Great looking book that'll never be duplicated TP!

    @Darrel – That Winter Soldier book is looking super sweet now. you need to get SJ now lol

  2. These three fall into this category :)

    (Will get scans soon, need to set up my scanner again).

    Signed by Sigourney Weaver, who also wrote 'Ripley'… my son was born last month, and we decided to call him, Ripley. We told her we were calling him that when we met her, and she touched my girlfriends bump, which was pretty cool!

    Also signed by Bill Paxton, who inscribed, "Game over Man!", Carrie Henn, who inscribed, "They mostly come at night… mostly!", and Colette Hiller, who inscribed, "Fly the friendly skies". It was also signed a few years ago by Lance Henrikson, who I then had inscribe, "I may be synthetic but I'm not stupid".

    Will be giving this to my Son, when he's old enough to hopefully appreciate it.

    These also fall under this category;

    Signed by Dave Barclay with my favourite Jabba line, "The bounty hunter is my kind of scum – fearless and inventive!"

    Signed by Hayley Atwell.

  3. I know what you mean, but it just seemed ridiculous, with the logic of tattoos comes vanity, I could understand some sort of scarification on the face or anywhere, but tattoos, especially ones in the context of what they both seem to have, seem way off the mark, but I'm hoping when I watch it, I can forget and ignore the tattoos.

    Seems ridiculous that they've leaked so much from this film already.

    Seriously, why the face tattoos? It's ridiculous to me.

    One reason is that it separates you from everybody else. People with face tattoos are generally looked at as a bit cracked, and it's difficult to imagine anyone getting one without realizing that.

  4. SO good to be able to scan my collection. I also use a HP legal size scanner! What model do you use? I honestly don't know why it's taken me so long to get one. Might make a thread and just showcase my collection. It's really cool to see everything scanned in it's fully glory :P

    Seeing my favourite books scanned just feels like great!

    Totally agree. Found an HP legal size scanner for $50 on eBay a few years back. Works great and takes excellent scans. The only problem I had was a time out error which was quickly fixed by using a shorter USB cable. A fellow boardie made that suggestion to me and it worked like a charm. (thumbs u
  5. So i've FINALLY got a scanner and I'm just getting around to scanning some stuff. It makes such a difference seeing stuff scanned. Looks 100x better.
