Finally had some time to take a few better pics of my set up. My house isn't the biggest but it's my first home and feels great to be able to display them in some way. Everybody here knows that I collect CGC SS books, my favourite creators and celebs mainly. Anyways; here are some improved pictures (they're not the best, but much better than before);
I didn't bother taking a picture of my book shelf next to my CGC set up – just figured this was the more interesting area.

Wow, that's amazing! I heard he signed a book, glad to see it's a Predator and glad to see that you own it.

Just arrived from SDCC.
I owe HUGE thanks to Triston Pence for these. You're the man!!
Excuse the crappy pictures… they just arrived this morning and I took some quick pictures before heading out to work.
Genuinely never thought any of these would be possible. I don't know how you do it.
First up… Frank Miller!
I think I'll add to this one in the future, maybe Rodriguez will show up again
Second up… Guillermo del Toro & Mike Mignola!
I've had this book for a while, I've mentioned a few times before that I've never seen any on ebay before, let alone any subbed to CGC, it's the first BPRD issue in it's own title.
Third up… Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Still stunned to have this. Have it on display at home next to my Sylvester Stallone Rambo comic.

Michael Golden was a tool.
I really love his art, but I didn't appreciate the way he was.
I try to forget about it.
I was a fan of his work, and was a bit nervous to meet him, I'm sure he could see that… So I asked generic questions expecting him to just be nice to a fan, just to get some confidence up... I asked, "What are your favourite characters to draw", to which he replied, "None", so it was instantly awkward… I replied, "What do you mean?"… and his response was, "It's just a JOB, it's just a pay cheque… that's ALL". Needless to say I was a bit speechless to that. Prior to this 'discussion', I approached his table with some paper for a commission and when I asked, "What do you charge for commissions?" he didn't even look at me once, and responded with, "I don't deal with any of that… deal with Renee". I'll never understand why somebody would fly to the UK to just speak to fans like that.
It's not the worst experience, but I still think it wasn't cool.
Edit: The commission I got was great, so I wasn't left unsatisfied with the money I paid, but I traveled over expecting to meet a hero is all.

I've decided to list my page on ebay, no idea if I'm asking too high. I just know that panel/page looks stunning, and is from issue 92 (an important issue, being the 1st jesus appearance). I don't know how to price these things!

I've discussed this before, but I've never seen any B.P.R.D. issue 1's on ebay, or any where in fact – surprisingly none have been submitted to CGC even. I got mine on an auction website a while back and thought nothing of it, it was just one I wanted – I'd be interested to know the print run for this comic?
Anyways, I went and sent my 9.8 candidate to my friend Triston to get done for me at SDCC… and he got it signed for me by Dell Toro and Mignola
I'm pretty excited for it.
