  1. Be sure to give Silo a try on Apple+ as well. Without a doubt my favorite series of 2023 and one I simply can’t stop thinking about. Best Apple+ series since Ted Lasso.
  2. I found this one a few years ago for cheap. One of my few lucky finds,
  3. I finally found a Battle of the Planets 1 Whitman. Been searching for a while. Had to pay up for it, but happy to find a nice copy.
  4. War Comics #2 (6 on census) and #4 (9 on census). These are closer to the $500 minimum for a 5.0, but based on what I've tracked (including what I paid for mine), I think these are well on the north side of that threshold.
  5. Tough criteria (and great idea!). I'm afraid I only have a few to share... Master Comics #11 (7 on census; 6 universal)
  6. And how can you be In Love without a First Kiss... (First Kiss #1; First Kiss #21)
  7. Here's a cool Jack Kirby cover. In Love #5
  8. I think I posted this earlier in the thread, but no longer use Photobucket so image link is broken. Falling In Love #1 - First Appearance of many teary-eyed heartbroken young girls to come in the series.
  9. Not my first MLJ/Archie, but certainly my first contribution to this thread. I’m excited to add Zip 35 to my collection. Not only a cool cover, but first appearance of Ginger Snapp.
  10. I stopped early in season 2, but after that preview, I think I need to catch up. Definitely a nostalgia rush for me.
  11. For me, hands down best hero series / movie of 2022. My fear with the DC Gunn announcement is that Season 2 will be left to a lesser talent now that Gunn is focused on the greater universe. So many superhero shows are just retreads lacking any real originality (which is near impossible to do at this point), so Peacemaker was a breath of fresh air for me.
  12. I checked both my copies, and they show the Jan 1966 date. One of them has a handwritten date of Nov 10, 1965 which probably makes sense given that books are typically on shelves before the stated publication date…
  13. Different back on 5 and 6 just thickens the plot. I doubt this is the case, but wouldn’t be Regional or anything, would it? All mine (except multi-pack) I purchased locally when they were released.
  14. I love the way Gunn weaves in music to his stories. Particularly GoTG and best thing he’s done IMO in Peacemaker. But I realize the charm is in the uniqueness of that, so not a foundation to build upon for every DC film to come. Still, his creativity should add something exciting to the DC brand.
