Thank you Krypto... Purchasing this Avengers #57 from you for $150. turned out to be an excellent deal for me. Turns out the book now graded as a CGC 9.2 is worth about $900.00 based on GPA sales . When you got so worked up regarding the Avengers #57 scan I posted by accident, I contacted the gentleman I sold the book to and asked him " Had the gentleman on the boards actually purchased the Avengers #57 based on the wrong scan I posted, would you have sold it back to me and bailed me out" ? Turns out he picked up a 9.2 slabbed copy a week after buying my ( your old copy ) copy...so I bought your old copy back from him and sent it in for grading . Whew...sure was a lot of conversation about a simply mistake, however looks like it all worked out in the end...well for me anyway. Thanks again , thanks to you this is the best deal I have bought this year !

Screenshot ? Dice....I didn't threaten you.....YOU have been calling me profane names in your messages,they can be read when responding. I said that if you would like to continue calling me pronfanity....that I will be in San Diego. That is far from a threat...... You make my point for me...internet thug calling people nasty names, then when confronted...."waw waw stop thretening me" . I di not threaten you in any way, shape , or form . Post's like this make it very easy not to give a hill of beans about what anyone commenting in this thread thinks. Seriously a lot of you folks must have no life outside the boards. I don't owe any of you an explanation....I will provide some details that came to light last night after I quit working and then move on. FOR THE RECORD.... I am guilty as charged for using the same scan. The claims being made were so outrageous in my opinion that I never bothered to consider the fact that I may have used the wrong scan .Around midnight last night I took the time to read through all the pages of this thread, and actually looked very closely at the scans provided...I have to concede here...I used the scan of the wrong book, it looks exactly the same to me as well .I simply did not even entertain the idea that Krypto Spidey's claims had any merit what-so-ever hence, I kinda came out swinging as I have a tendency to do.This was also wrong on my part. The 8.5 slab in question purchased from Krypto had in fact been cracked out and sold as a 9.0 at Wonder Con, if this is a crime...oh well . I had 5 copies of this book at one time recently and still buy every copy I can get my hands on for a good price . I recently had , and sold 6 Batman #232's for the same reason, they are popular, and sell quickly for a modest profit. I have contacted gentleman that purchased the raw copy mailed out to him yesterday, early this morning ( obviously he will be receiving the wrong book ) and advised him of my mistake. He will either keep it, or send it back for a full refund. His opinion does matter to me very much, unlike the opinion of some of the derelict's and their comments made here in this thread. A lot of this thread is simply not construtive in my opinion. This might be hard for some of you to grasp as "collectors" out there, but I have sold well over 4500 books this last year alone on Ebay, with well over a thousand transactions.... mistakes do happen, I made one, I am human. Does this make me Danny Dupcheck as one boardie compared me too...no . My selling record here, and on Ebay is nearly flawless, and for good reason, I care about my customers, I am also an honest person. Sometimes the wrong book gets sent to the wrong buyer ect... Thank you to those of you that judged me by our experiences....the rest of you don't matter, at all . A few of you that I thought were friends....I was wrong about that too. I hope this provides closure here, if not...oh well. People make mistakes, let the 1st one of you that is perfect step up and start throwing stones. I respect what is at stake here....however a lot of these post's are ludicrous . Just a $500 difference, that's all even with a $500.00 difference Is it not possible that who ever bought or buys the book may believe it to be higher OR lower than the CGC grade of 8.5? I mean come on how many of us have bought a PGX book cracked it out and submitted it to CGC and a different grade higher or lower comes back. Just using that to make a point that grading is very subjuctive and if you asked 20 different people to look at the book in hand I would say you would get a range of 8.0-9.2. I understand that there is a big difference in price. However, if the buyer or potenial buyer agrees with the grade the Dr gave it and is completely happy . Is there anything wrong with that? Its a totally different situation if he sells it as a 9.2 and the buyer is unhappy and wants to return the book. As long as the Dr. refunds the money or adjusts the price accordingly then that would be ok as well IMHO You're missing the point by about a mile. Muscleshark bought a pressed, slabbed 8.5 book - he cracks it, offers up it for sale as 9.2 raw, and doesn't disclose the fact that it was pressed (which I personally don't care about) and that it was previously graded as a 8.5 (which I do care about). If you don't see the blatant dishonesty in that, you shouldn't be selling here on the boards either. On the side of being open minded, I sold a bronze key to Jive who thought it looked much better than the assigned CGC grade and so he gave it a straight resub and it went from a CGC 9.0 to a CGC 9.6. True story. On the topic of this thread, Frank just lied through his teeth without flinching a muscle. They are without a doubt the same book. That's enough for me. In my opinion...Roy , you are a hopeless dope without a clue. Nothing more...nothing less, wow a real leader of the masses......
