  10. My thoughts are I should have bought it hehe i'm usually an af15 only collector but wanted to think outside of the af15box; happy with this cap1; gonna leave as is
  11. My thoughts are I should have bought it hehe The story on this book is that I bought it raw from a comic store in South Jersey that bought it from an old collector as unrestored and it came back Green Label with a married cover. I called the store to get a refund and they refused and we went back and forth and finally I decided to cut my losses because I was so disgusted with the entire ordeal. I sold the book to jgallo soon afterwards. I believe that I offered it on the Boards first though. It was a rash decision and in hindsight I should have just kept the book. However, sometimes you get in a bad deal and you don't want the book around to remind you about it. wow, thanks for the history on this book (thumbs u
  12. this cap 1 is no longer available on comiclink. any thoughts on it?
  13. Do you see Captain america 1 follow a similar pattern of increase in value as Batman 1 particulary in the 2.0 and below books?
  14. AF 15 $ for $ 7 days a week and twice on Sunday LSU by 10 Easiest answer in this whole thread
  15. 8-10 k is range depending on presentation,pq, etc Thank you Gator visual presentation and quality of restoration plays a big role, so sometimes tought to "estimate" without specifics... (thumbs u for a 1.5, this has great presentation IMO. Colors are tough to get bright on a Cap 1, and this one has it. Not sure what the BC looks like but a nice 1.5 http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?id=917322 no longer on comiclink, sold outside of comiclink? board transaction?
  16. Long story short= An lcs near trey had a lot of marvel keys for sale, Jim 83 Tos 39 etc. Trey took pics of them and 'sold' them on the forums with the hopes of taking the cash and getting a good deal on the lot. It was a very classic epic fail, i wish i could find the threads. Roy 'bought' the jim 83 iirc. Im sure he knows the details better than i that sound about right, sometime in 09 if i remember correctly
  17. seems pretty simple to me-Trey is not a person I would want to deal with. Deception with pgx slab in the sales thread then the big meltdown. Enough reason for me to avoid this person
  18. one someone asked him in the sales thread if was in a slab, his response was "i never said it was in a slab". thats what i rmember; i might be wrong
  19. action 12, tec27, mf43, adventure 38.......... at first glance those back covers look the same from ha.com scans but only confirmation i got so far from gator via haspel is that action 12 and tec27 are exact fit
  20. Thats actually a board member here who posted that. Would be much cheaper to buy the corresponding Adventure or More Fun. How would you know the difference? how about action 12/detective 27 back cover match. what other exact matches are out there for this back cover
  21. The wonder woman tv show with linda carter was very popular for the 80's crowd; maybe the 90's and later crowd aren't aware of its existence. Might need a successful wonder woman movie like iron man to increase "new" demand
  22. (envy) I didn`t buy it. I just celebrate any time someone who presses and resubs a book loses money! just looking at the heritage archives, i spotted 2 af15s that bumped from 5.5 to 7.0 and a 4.5 to a 5.5 and thats just with a quick scan.
  23. adios sc22 hello sc4 More like...SC22 , SC4 BB28 , DC SA I agree (thumbs u just meant to say gator's done his sc22 magic already and now he has strike the sc4
