  1. Minutekev...or kevnaminute Also, a few of you mentioned Lighthouse...the first couple of deals I did with him was great, timely shipped and everything....then, I was one of the board members who ordered the Lee Superman run from him. That DRAMA went on forever...But, eventually, I got the books, like three years later. (Plus, it was missing an issue, but he threw in some crappy Supes comic from the 70s to make up for it). Others I miss: DarthDiesel BOC (as someone pointed out) Old Guy Hammer (Just cause he was a )
  2. I'll echo that for my winnings from ComicGrinder's benefit auction! Thanks Scottish!
  3. Kudos to DiceX (Steve) for hooking me up with trades 2-9 of Walking Dead at a great price! Books arrived today, couldn't be happier! Thanks again Steve!
  4. Major Kudos to campued1010 (Andre) for hooking me up with a CGC 9.0 Hulk 181! My highest recommendation and one of the best comic transactions ever....and talk about bombproof packaging! WOW!
  5. If you're interested in reading them, Dark Horse is reprinting them all right now in an "Essential"-style format. It's a good time to be a Conan and REH fan. Thought I'd try something different and start from the first issue of a comic, buy it, read it, and wait to buy the next issue next month...sort of like the gold old days...
  6. Great book and cover. You know I picked up the Marvel Premier issues of Iron Fist just for reading purposes a couple of years ago. I can only say this....ugh. Bad, bad story. Real cheesy and full of second-person narrative..."You are Iron Fist...You are a bad azz Kung-Fu fighter...You have a really cool tattoo on your chest..."
  7. This is great stuff! I'm a Conan fan as well. I remember picking up a copy of Savage Sword of Conan in the grocery store as a kid and feeling like was doing something "bad", guess cause it was a magazine, no-code, and Conan, admittedly was NOT the kind of hero traditional to comics. This thread got me feeling nostalgia for the old barbarian. Just plopped down a bid on a a SSOC No. 1!
