  1. Peter O'Toole as Alan Swan said it best, "I'm not an actor, I'm a movie star!" Cavill and Johnson are movie stars who don't do the fan convention or expo circuit whereby Zac Levi invests part of his time as a career actor taking personal interest in meeting his fan base one-on-one. It is admirable for Zac to step in with a passionate "choto mate kudasai!" request for societies insolent to learn and practice decorum as well as to thoughtfully address and put things in perspective to comfort the majority of affectionate movie fans, like me.
  2. Great humanitarian, prolific veteran actor, eloquent spokesman, Zac telling it like it is as always.
  3. Snyderbot coordinated #FireJamesGunn disinformation social media campaign stifled!
  4. Way cool. Luckily enjoyed a one time chance to see Shazam! in Real D 3D and the colours and definition popped gorgeously on the screen. I now know better these 3D theatre showings are a very brief limited run so I'll be seeing the Real D 3D version of Shazam!! quite a few times.
  5. David F. Sandberg dissed his own movie with a Letterboxd film review. Classic Sandberg.
  6. This conveniently occurs in his comic book stories and works for me!
  7. +1 Aristotle said it best, "Hope is a waking dream." I happen to admire Peter Safran as an Irving Thalberg of our generation. He has the knack and know how to produce films with great stories, casts, and directors who make enjoyable profitable movies.
  8. Today is the Golden Anniversary the first issue of DC's Shazam! appeared on comic book spinner racks! I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming we now have - not one but two - Hollywood blockbuster major motion pictures starring The OG Captain Marvel.
  9. I've probably seen this illustration once or twice before over the years, until James Gunn posted it in his tweet I never saw the opposite reflection of The OG Captain Marvel in the glass table. Jeez, what an apropos image to convey his "Making plans." Appaude his acumen and aesthetic taste in super-hero art.
  10. +1 Mac most definitly applied unique artistry of creating a unified field of motion in his highly active character illustrations.
  11. Captain Marvel Jr. appeared on newsstands 81 years ago today in Whiz Comics #25. Thank you France and Mac!
  12. Had a reminisce thought over the past holiday weekend recalling fond memories as a kid of religiously watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade soley to wait and see the Bullwinkle J. Moose Balloon appear as a herald annual event that could not be missed, and if you did your life experience wasn't quite complete that year. Bullwinkle was massively impressive and one of the largest, most endearing Macy's Day Balloons in their parades for over 20 years. The marketing department of the newly formed WB DC Studios might consider creating and entering an equally massively impressive Shazam! balloon in the Macy's Parade so fans today 50 years from now can reminisce to their kids "As a young'un, I remember when they had a Captain Marvel balloon in the parade, never missed a year seeing it each Thanksgiving, yes siree Bob them's were the glory days when life was swell. Pepperidge Farm remembers."
  13. Happy Thanksgiving to all Shazamites and Lieutenant Marvel's far and wide.
  14. Fortunately someone has found a facinating interview with C.C. Beck from '77. Dunno about everyone else, this is the first time I've heard his voice or seen him on video other than from photographs and quoted in print.
