    Today's mail call! One of the tougher Byrne books in 9.8. My quest for 108-143 in CGC 9.8 continues.

    Nice! KI really blew me away when it was released. It was like Mortal Kombat, but more visually stunning. Orchid was my girl. I wanted one for years and found this one a while back. Keep telling myself I'm going to really study the game and practice to regain my former glory, but haven't found the time just yet.

    There was also a trick to use a pen or pencil between the fingers to rapidly hit both buttons with minimal effort. I saw some massive scores achieved that way. As a kid, I never could figure out the technique.

    I have a nice Zaxxon in my basement arcade. One of my favorites from the golden age of arcade games. The 3D perspective was so cool and unique at the time in the early 80s. Those crazy airplane waves in space are still my downfall.

    Those are on the slip cover that goes around the main box. Yeah, I agree they did a great job there of creating some believable GA covers!

    Kick-started this game a while back, and it arrived today, completely taking me by surprise. This is a board game where you compete with the other players to see who is the best at running a comic book publishing company in the Golden Age! You hire talent, put out books and try to be the most successful shop. Sounds like a lot of fun, but that remains to be seen. Anybody else back this game, or has already played?
