    The Big Apple collection goes back to 1939. There is even a Detective #31 in the collection. But the older books were pretty damaged with lower page quality. Then in late 1943, the page quality goes up significantly! As do the grades! The main problem with those books is they were stored next to gasoline or kerosine and smell. What’s worse is there was a leak of some sort and many of those pristine, white paged books have stains do to this leak.

    I prefer the blast white coins. Some toned coins look neat, but some to me just look plain ugly. Apparently there are ways to artificially tone a coin, so to me I would not know the difference. No 1921 btw.

    Took days to sort through my 1200 Morgan and Peace Dollar collection.

    I’m not content. To me, content is just 1 step away from selling off. I have been content in other hobbies, then sold off everything for another chase. I will say I’m happy with what I have, but looking for more!
