  1. I sold this 4 months ago to a guy, hope he knows what he’s doing!
  2. CAF Update: On CAF, I've posted 20 new artworks since my last post here. Today I posted a classic Captain America cover that you're gonna wanna see! https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1857028
  3. What I’m talking about is back when Kirby started, 99.999% of the comic book artists drew stiff, boring art that was very 2 dimensional. They were trying to be accurate with regard to the human form and figure, but it did not translate well most of the time. Kirby’s art was fresh, dynamic, invigorating, and exciting. He focused more on motion and action, than precision correctness. I doubt he has any regrets about it!
  4. Kirby meant for his art to be dynamic & exciting, not accurate. Accurate is boring. Comics are not meant to be boring. Comics are entertainment, and Kirby understood these concepts literally from day 1 in his art career.
  5. All Star Comics #7 is dated Oct 1941. It is the first time they appear in a story together. They are also on the cover as well, along with the Flash.
  6. You are all wrong. They first appeared together in the same story in All Star Comics #7.
  7. Vince and I worked at cgc together for many years. He has a great collection, including ASM 39 pages and the 2 Wolverine concept pieces that John Romita drew up for Herb Trimpe to copy. Even back in 2010 Vince was thinking those were worth 200k or so. It will be interesting to see how much things go for.
  8. No, no, CL is great! I just need a good 3-4 months to sell stuff so I can afford to put in a serious offer. If I was offered this back in May, I'd have the money to buy it now.
  9. Wish I knew this was for sale before it went to CL. I’d have made a very strong offer on it. Best of luck on them!
  10. I always wanted a Ditko ASM page with Spider-Man on the page. Took me a while to get one, then another… now I have 9.
