  1. I'll lower the set to $65 with free shipping. A more heavily creased Revenge of the Jedi copy sold on ebay for $50 with another sitting at $75 that's creased in half. I know this is priced well!
  2. You don't see the Revenge of the Jedi fliers very often! Also here are two cool Star Wars booklets. All originals from the late Bronze Age of 1982 & 1983. Light spine stress & few creases. Fine overall. $75 for the set, shipping to conUS included! Payment by Paypal or check. 7 day return privilege!
  3. No one who spends $5000 on a huge tv with sound system considers that an investment, it is $5000 spent for pleasure. To some, a $5000 piece of art is that, pleasure. To others, it is pleasure rationalized as an investment. Either way you rationalize the expense, it is still a $5000 expense that is hopefully enjoyed, no matter the reasoning put behind the purchase.
  4. Someone suggested Marie Severin, but that was debunked pretty quickly. What I find interesting is that the entire AF #15 interior was donated and intact, not just the Spider-Man parts. That might help clue us in as to who owned it this entire time.
  5. Bechara had the What If #1 cover in SD back in 2018 for around 70k. I didn’t buy it, but at least I have a nice partial splash from #1.
  6. I’m not sure why the word “canvassing” was made up to describe pebbling caused by a bad press. Just say pebbling!
  7. I don’t think Stan Lee’s handlers and daughter would EVER allow that to happen! Never!!!! They we’re fighting to take every dollar they could. They would never let millions walk out the back door, unless it was into their back doors.
  8. I hear it's no fun to drive a fraction of a Lamborghini.
  9. You had 7 offers on the through Heritage last month. Was that the guy you sold it to last week?
  10. I don’t think they are an indicator. I think people are interested in Promise books and don’t want to spend $25k to have a good one, so they are settling on spending a little extra on a western just to get a book from the collection.
  11. I’m guessing westerns are down, or at the very least, not going up a red (Indian) cent.
  12. With higher prices, that means collections that would have had 50 great pieces at past pricing will now be collections that only have 10 great pieces. The same amount of money was spent, but less pieces were bought as each single piece cost 5 times what they used to.
  13. Right now Burkey has 28 pieces of budget art on his site priced $50 to $100. Inexpensive art is out there, you just to to know where to look!
