  1. I am trying to get my hand on any of the Lego exclusives. Please shoot me a PM if you can help. Thanks.
  2. Just bought my package for Byrne. I just want to meet the man behind why I started collecting. Still can he restrict CGC SS if you have a CGC witness with you?
  3. It was not weird hearing Prof X talk like that at all. Having experience with and seeing those affected by dementia and certain brain disorders that affect the elderly, inhibitions - especially those that govern how we express ourselves, are severely diminished. if he didn't do that I would have been more surprised.
  4. The greatest comic book movie. Ever. I shed a tear the second time I watched it. My daughter was a blubbering mess. The use of violence and his journey as Wolverine - all of it came full circle. Jackman and for sure Sir Patrick deserve Oscar nods. And X-23 was worth watching again - the actress has a great future.
  5. Screw the critics. The movie was excellent.
  6. Not a crossover. Although Gotham has never stated its exact year the producers have stated that if Batman exists now (2016) this is before that. It is clear with the technology used, sets, cars, even the computers it is 1980s / early nineties.
  7. Guys - can we keep this on point? Comments, wants and hopes about the movie. The pointless back and forth and get to know you posts make me want to drop the thread from Watch Topics. X-men fans or not just watch the movie and make up your own mind. Critics won't always be right or the norm, especially with Comic Book Movies.....
  8. You made me watch Days of Future Past again, as now I was interested to see if there is a straight answer. But to make it fun, I watched the Rogue Cut. First time I saw the credit scene with Trask. The only logical answer is alternate timelines. It is explained at the beginning and during flashbacks. The alternate timeline begins when Trask isn't killed. The Sentinels were not launched originally because Mutants were hidden. Only after getting her DNA and being revealed leads to an early launch. If you remember Trask did not have funding or Congress until he meets with the President after an open battle with Mutants at the Peace Conference. In the original timeline Trask's mission is dark - hidden with the research of Mystique's DNA until they can create modern Sentinels. The shape - shifting Sentinels remain canon without rewriting history because Trask still needed time to develop them. It can also be explained that this leads to Apocalypse's early awakening because Mutants are now 10 years part of open society. You're welcome.
  9. I really wanna see this movie now! Aaron Rodgers who cares about a ring when you have this to come home to.
  10. I definitely look forward to seeing the pictures. I'm a Lego VIP member as well. But honestly, I do not take advantage of that membership enough. As far as writing off the kit laying the groundwork for the future of the MCU. I do a little research on comic book movies and TV shows. The talk has been a certain character is going to be rolled out as the new leader of the Avengers in time for Infinity War. Especially since some of the current Avengers actors are getting up in years, along with a few not extending their contracts. Plus hints of another character making his way into the MCU. A few folks on comicbookmovie.com have posted about talking with insiders about this, and getting hints but no definite confirmation. Could he and a team he is associated with become the next GotG? TBD. One reason none of the new kits can clearly call out any association with Avengers: Infinity War is the first movie is over two years out (May 2018). Plenty of time for Marvel to lock down its plans, marketing and partner roadmaps to take advantage of this fantastic universe. Time enough to build interest in new characters until then through comics, animation and - you guessed it - LEGO kits. Sorry for the lateness:
  11. As a current LEGO VIP member and seeker of all things Marvel and Star Wars - I have been following the 2016 sets closely. I was able to get my hands on a few sets early from local stores after I found out Lego stores were holding back to sell existing stock. The Avenjet set is not based on any movie current or future - it is a spoiler for the upcoming season of the animated series, not an MCU movie. Marvel is again releasing sets based on animation like it did with Ultimate Spiderman. If you look at the top right corner they are using the Avengers Assemble cartoon series logo and images so it can explain using that universe. I will post pics of some completed Star Wars sets later today.
