At a quick glance in GPA looks like #2 9.8's are doing well.

I haven't been on top of things for last couple of weeks so just checking out hammer prices now: CC: $155,520 - finished CL: $131,000 - finished HA: $90,000 5 days left Quite a far cry from the $200,000+ in 2021...

Transformers Universe #1 Unicron ccc 9.2 Another has come up for sale. I haven't seen this one offered before.

I've always disliked this about some auction houses. The price you are going to pay should be the price displayed...

CC copy sold for $155,250 + 15% Comiclink now at $106,000 with 5 days left...

For $400k I would expect the comic to be thrown in too...

there is also one on ComicLink so your appetite for deriding this book has some fodder...

I hope the comic link one clears it's Heritage price... I'd be a bit nervous selling so soon. It hasn't started yet so we will have to wait for play by play. $23k so far on the CC copy...

Yes, it was the July 19 one...how do you see the sale price? It doesn't show that for me...

So the issue that was on EBay at $17k has sold: I have sent a message to the seller to find out what the final sale price was and await response. So that's it then, there are no more available online. Anybody know any offline venues where this is available?

A couple of #1 9.8's in upcoming auctions: ComicLink #1 9.8 ComicConnect #1 9.8 There are now 42 copies in 9.8 and 70 in 9.6. Do you think the growing population will have a negative or positive impact on the values?

I wanted to update an old post (which referenced an older one from 2012) to report a sale on eBay: Unicron variant sold on eBay on May30. $5000 The same certified copy sold in Dec 2021 for $1250, that's a nice return... This is the only other copy available online: Transformers Universe #1 Unicron on eBay $17k! I find this issue fascinating! Disclaimer: none of these copies are mine or belong to anyone I know...I'm just interested...

As soon as he said "I've been offered $300,000 to $350,000, somewhere in that range, I don't remember" I knew he was lying... "Around 1986"...a real expert collector there... The other guy: "From the outside you can't really tell, but on the inside it has so many details and artwork..." really? REALLY??

So how did the Snake Eyes movie affect the values in the end? I didn't see the movie but I heard the story was poop... One of my favourite covers of all time. Whenever I see it online or in person I just have to stop and look (drool).

There's a #1 2nd print in 9.8 on Heritage: TMNT #1 2nd print CGC 9.8 This edition always gets me interested as there are so few in 9.8 relative to the other prints.

Now that would be a fun box to unpack back from CGC

Just noticed there are now 40 tmnt #1 in 9.8. I'm not sure if this is because some blue labels were resubmitted for yellow labels and then were not removed from the blues but there are now 5 yellows, 34 blues and 1 green. here's the breakdown for the first 3 printings in 9.8 as of 5 minutes ago: 1st printing: 40 3.5% of population (1132 total in all grades) 2nd printing: 12 1.7% of population (714 total in all grades) 3rd printing: 78 4% of population (1893 total in all grades)
